DIY Lace Choker Tutorial from Urban Threads here. I’ve written about Urban Threads before. They have cool inexpensive embroidery designs you can buy for hand or machine embroidery and stock art. But if you don’t have an expensive embroidery machine just go buy a piece of Battenburg lace from your fabric store or online (it’s often in the bridal section).

DIY Organza Floating Wings Tee Shirt Restyle Tutorial by Urban Threads here. I haven’t posted about Urban Threads in a long time, but they have cheap,  modern embroidery designs available for machine or hand stitch embroidery or stock art (lots of tattoo and Steampunk inpspired designs). You could hand embroider the wings to chiffon or organza and that’s why I pictured their hand embroidery wing above. *They often have free downloads under “free stuff” and right now it’s a roller derby “Hit Like a Girl” patch embroidery design here.

Their steampunk and edgy style (not really pictured above) is inspiring. Their patterns aren’t free but often come bundled and the patterns in the handstitching format are really cheap.
