truebluemeandyou: Reblogging because THIS PHOTO still on top 10 lists of DIY and CRAFTS and cheating Beth at Bethtastic out of potential business and recognition for her work.

THIS DRIVES ME CRAZY. Someone posted the above bracelet today as a ring with this caption: Want this amazing film strip ring! Swoon! (and this person tagged it “Etsy find of the day”)
MY PROBLEMS WITH THIS
It’s Not a ring. It’s a bracelet. “old film negative hand cast resin bangle, bracelet”
She didn’t link it to any one/any site. So here’s the source info: Etsy Seller: bethtastic. Site for bracelet here: http://www.etsy.com/listing/60469279/old-film-negative-hand-cast-resin-bangle. Her shop is AMAZING!
Please don’t mention Etsy and then not link. These people deserve credit for their work, photography ect…
I clicked on her other photos and it appeared as if none of them have links. Wouldn’t she like credit for her photography and design? I sure would. I use google search all the time to see where my work is (and if I’ve gotten credit for it) and more importantly what people are using it for. I also use it constantly to find the source of other work so in the real world I don’t get sued for using a font or photo without permission.
No wonder blogs and Etsy sellers dislike many tumblr posters. I dislike a few of them too.
*Personal Note: Probably wouldn’t have cared or noticed if I had not favorited this bracelet (and knew it wasn’t a ring) on Etsy last night and emailed it to my mom. I really love this bracelet (and everything I post). Because really, this is supposed to be about things we like and it’s supposed to be fun.
