DIY Inspiration: Tarnished Silver Stacking Display. I like this really fresh take on the whole “different things glued to each other” (a trend I actually like). I find the most unusual and unique things on this blog: Todolwen. My post on beautiful book page origami butterflies here came from this site. More detailed photos from Todolwen here. *I have a bunch of old silver plated items that will never shine up and are beyond rescuing. These are the pieces I’d use for something like this. Lots of “unsalvageable” silver plated things like this at thrift stores.
