Hi! I have a bunch of t-shirts with graphic on it… And I want to reuse them as craft materials, but I don’t want to restyle them or make them into bags/purses because they either have my school logo on it or other graphics that i don’t want to keep.. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks! (:
DIY Gathered Colorful Quilt. I love this quilt and like the suggestion of using a twin sheet for the backing (that’s exactly what I did when I quilted). Quilting isn’t hard to do but requires some patience. Tutorial from The Train to Crazy here.
DIY T-Shirt Quilt. I posted another T-Shirt Quilt here, but I like how this tutorial uses a blanket and fusible interfacing. Tutorial from Stars for Streelights here.
DIY Felted Sweater Blanket. Easiest instructions I’ve read so far - still a ton of work, but worth it (I’ve done 2 quilts using small squares of flannel that have this same type of look and are gorgeous). From recovergirl here. *When I was going to do felting I looked up tutorials on felting in the washing machine. I found several that suggested different ways of doing it (putting the bags in mesh bags etc…) to keep from totally gunking up your machine.
DIY T-Shirt Quilt. I have been saving up T-Shirts for a quilt for a L.O.N.G. time, so this Tutorial at Instructables is perfect for me. *What I love about Instructables is that if you don’t like this tutorial on T-Shirt quilts, look in the sidebar for dozens more!
Etsy Pattern for A trip to the Apothecary Quilt. And you thought quilts were boring? 24 squares and the possibilities are endless. Pattern from the shaebay’s Etsy Store here. First seen at Craftster.org here.
