If your shoes are too big or you don’t think the plastic ankle straps look comfortable this is an easy option using velcro. As Gloriously Chic mentions you can buy clear plastic from huge rolls at the fabric store. DIY Clear Plastic Studded Envelope Clutch Tutorial from Swellmayde here. I have sewn thousand of these from ID holders to small and large clutches (which made me never ever want to do it again for retail orders). For my tips on how to sew on plastic go here. For a smaller size clutch that you can interchange the Hermes Jige Clutch printables with go here and for an altered sweatshirt using clear plastic go here. More tips: sew SLOWLY because not all machines “like” sewing on plastic. Also make sure you have the tension right and practice on scraps first.
