truebluemeandyou: DIY Thread Bird Nest Tutorial. I posted this last July and said I’d reblog it in time for Easter. Still love it.
DIY Thread Bird Nest Tutorial from Just Something I Made here. I have so many spools of thread that aren’t vintage but just cheap and break all the time. Saving this idea for Easter or spring time. For more Easter/spring DIYs go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/easter

truebluemeandyou: Bird Nest Necklaces. Posted in August or September. Reblogged because I either love it (which I do) or because - well you know if you’ve read this blog for a while.
DIY Bird Nest Necklace. Simple, easy - so easy - tutorial here at Sarah Ortega Photography. At first I thought the beads must be glued into the nest and that it must be really hard so I didn’t post it. But you just string beads onto the wire, wrap the wire around them, then read the tutorial about the jump rings. Also, I went back to this tutorial (I keep a file on stuff I’ve seen and liked) because I have seen retail versions of these necklaces costing upwards of $25 to $30. You will be so surprised at how easy these are to make!
