DIY Knockoff Dolce and Gabbana Flower Sunglasses. Loving this D&G tutorial for so many reasons: great knockoff, links for the resin flower molds so you can make the flowers so cheaply yourself (like for the Prada Honestly…WTF rose earrings here), and options for materials. Tutorial by Chic Steals here. *I’d normally use polymer clay, but that’s what I’m comfortable working with and I have a dedicated toaster oven for it. But I am open to trying resin clay after reading Chic Steal’s post.

Loving this D&G tutorial for so many reasons: great knockoff, links for the resin flower molds so you can make the flowers so cheaply yourself (like for the Prada Honestly…WTF rose earrings here), and options for materials. All they are is resin in silicone molds (I posted a bunch earlier of steampunk gears an stuff from Etsy). I’m not saying it is as easy, but it is so much easier than you think it is! This is an excellent Resin Tutorial for those wishing to make their own, give them as gifts etc… Etsy is full of places to buy the ring bases, jewelry hardware, and cheap rosettes etc… There are different types of resin, so just do your research.

Here is what you can make easily and cheaply from supplies from Etsy (all sellers had 100% positive feedback). I have worked with polymer clay ($.99 on sale) which is so easy to do and if in doubt look for a tutorial to tell you how to get the colors you want. You can always ask for “Food Grade” molds so you can make chocolate or whatever (but never use it for food once you’ve used polymer clay - and that goes for anything that touches the clay).
