Matte Mod Podge to Make Matte Nails

I’ve been desperately searching for matte nail polish or a matte top coat and I’ve spent a fortune on products that simply don’t work. So in one last act of desperation, I decided to use matte mod podge as a top coat. It worked perfectly! Didn’t lighten the shade at all, however you can see the brush marks from the mod podge so you have to apply it carefully. Thought I’d share my DIY-discovery with you! (:

  • ginkgobilobatree answered: No. I use NYC Matte Me Crazy, and it works like a charm for me. It is self-leveling, fast-drying, and less than $2 a bottle!

DIY Confetti Bowl Tutorial from V Juliet here. This is kind of like regular paper mache, but I think more fun as you aren’t laying strip after strip of paper covered in paste. I have a question in about how many layers were actually done to make this bowl. Will edit the post if I get an answer.

I’m wondering if there is a way to use Dollar Store flat backed marbles/stones (the kind everyone uses for magnets) to get a similar look.
