DIY Easy Map Pendant Tutorial from Happy Hour Projects here. Adrianne used to sell these necklaces on her Etsy site, but since she doesn’t anymore she posted this really easy tutorial on her blog. What’s nice is you can use any paper souvenir/keepsake for this project.

How-Tuesday: Map Silhouette Postcard
Truebluemeandyou: I love maps and silhouettes so this is the perfect project for me. I had a post up of a silhouette I did of my cockatoo (but took it down). I find making silhouettes of unconventional subjects the most interesting for me.
DIY Vacation Heart Wall Art from fabric paper glue here. She used a tutorial from Cinsarah here. I like the idea of taking all that stuff you save from trips like menus, maps, ticket stubs, etc… and doing this.
DIY Google Map Satellite Photo Pillow Tutorial from Spoonflower here. Very easy tutorial where you can use Picassa and other free photo editing software. *I cannot afford $27 per yard for Spoonflower’s linen-cotton canvas (their basic cotton is $17.50 per yard), but I can see making a low end version of this using tee shirt ink jet iron on transfers (I can’t remember what brand I used but it held up after dozens of times in the washing machine and dryer - no cracking or fading).
