DIY Makeup Contouring Tutorial from Keiko Lynn. This tutorial has been on so many “top DIYs to try” lists today. If you want to know about conturing and highlighting this is an excellent tutorial. It covers the basics from the tools and makeup used to tutorial photos that are like mini infographics in themselves.

DIY Contouring Lips Tutorial from LuLus. I’ve been seeing so many makeup conturing tutorials recently. Most are clownish and heavy but others are really well done. Not sure what I think about this one. I wish I could see the lips on an actual face.

DIY 2 Ingredient Makeup Brush Cleaner from The Beauty Department. In the comments there is disagreement over using vinegar. One comment is, “ I use olive oil and a drop or two of dawn (a little goes a long way).” and another, “I’ve heard about baby shampoo with some olive oil works best, also dry your brushes hanging down. That hot water could damage the glue and the vinegar damage the bristles.” The Beauty Department ladies rarely (almost never?) respond to comments.
