DIY $10 Hula Hoop Hanging Light Tutorial from Emily Henderson here. This is part of her $.99 DIYs series (the hula hoops were $.99 a piece) and all her tutorials are easy to understand and funny to read. This is not a high end looking piece - but it only costs around $10! What Emily wrote: Let me be clear, this is not meant to be something super high end looking - its more like a cheap and fun piece.  It would be great for a loft party.  Or so fun for a kids room.  You could paint it white for something more modern, or paint it black if you are goth…or just into black. Or obviously you could stripe them, glitter them, dip dye them….endless possibilities.

DIY Mini Marquee Lights Tutorial and Free Template from Oh Happy Day here. *I haven’t posted the giant ones before because I thought the bulbs were too hard to get and expensive. These I could afford and do. Cute GIF but it won’t work because GIFs on Tumblr have to be under a certain width.

Take a photo of your house, apartment building, condo etc… and make it personal. You can only use battery operated tea lights with these.
