DIY $10 Hula Hoop Hanging Light Tutorial from Emily Henderson here. This is part of her $.99 DIYs series (the hula hoops were $.99 a piece) and all her tutorials are easy to understand and funny to read. This is not a high end looking piece - but it only costs around $10! What Emily wrote: Let me be clear, this is not meant to be something super high end looking - its more like a cheap and fun piece.  It would be great for a loft party.  Or so fun for a kids room.  You could paint it white for something more modern, or paint it black if you are goth…or just into black. Or obviously you could stripe them, glitter them, dip dye them….endless possibilities.

DIY Make “Industrial Chic* Lamp” from Pipe Fittings. Detailed tutorial on Manmade site. Kind of reminds me of the Pixar Lamp i.e. it has a personality of its own. *The creator of the lamp named it “Industrial Chic” which I interpret to mean stylish in its own genre (responding to comment).
