DIY Lavender, Strawberry and Vanilla Ruffle Cake Tutorial. Love this tutorial because she does a “crumb coat” (quick and dirty coat of icing before you do the real one), and the directions are really clear. Tutorial from Bubble and Sweet here. *When I took cake decorating classes from Wilton, we used Crisco Vegetable Shortening because eventhough it’s kind of gross, it’s supposedly easier to decorate with.
DIY Lavender Eye Pillows. This tutorial also shows you how to run linen through your printer (although I’d probably use iron-on color-fast ink jet printer cloth), and I would also stick with flax seed and not rice.
