DIY Superhero Silhouette Tutorial from Don’t Interrupt Me - I’m Talking to Myself! here. For little kids you could do Shrek who has a really good silhouette and others. First seen at Decor Hacks here.
How much do I love unconventional silhouettes? Here is a post where I showed off my cockatoo’s silhouette here and more silhouettes here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/silhouette

DIY Abstract Watercolor Tutorial from Grow Creative here. I’m always looking for easy projects that kids as well as adults can do with good results and this is one of them. This is so much easier than it looks and is really run because you get to dribble rubber cement all over the watercolor paper.
DIY Easy Wall Art Tutorial from DIY People here. So easy a grade school student could do it - and I’ve posted ones where they have done this technique tracing their hands. But I like this tutorial the best. I have spent far too much time doing this on notebooks, paper etc… I translated this from Danish to English automatically using Chrome.

DIY Kandinsky Inspired Lid Art for Kids from Or Die Trying here. These are the type of craft projects I did as a kid. Love this. First seen at recyclart here.

This is awesome, I love this painting. I wonder if it would look tacky/cheap in person.
Truebluemeandyou: it depends how you frame things - truly anything can look amazing with the right frame, mat, and mat color. I took a professional framing course (best money I ever spent) and if you framed this with a thin black modern frame and glass that was deep enough for the lids it could make it go from kids craft to where did you buy that?

DIY Inspiration: Paintbrush Super Heroes Created by Children. From Mini Taller d’Art on Facebook here.
Truebluemeandyou: I actually follow Mini Taller d’Art on Facebook because they come up with the best kids’ projects that I can actually see some artist making and putting in a gallery. Truly.
