DIY Inspiration: espensive tape ($19 per roll) for lightweight props and costumes.  Designed by mmiinn and sold here. First saw the trunk straps tape at  superslyskillzmcfly here (a blog I follow).

truebluemeandyou: I can also see this tape on journals, shoe boxes (turned into storage boxes), etc… I wish the rolls were smaller because in theory you could just use the image - but then I guess you could also print out the image on your printer and decoupage it too - but not as cool.

DIY Cross Stitch Inspired Perler Beads Journal Cover Tutorial from EilenTein here. I used Chrome to translate from Finnish to English. Use a cross stitch generator to make your own cross stitch designs that I posted here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/post/20122380140/diy-free-cross-stitch-generator-for-your-photos

DIY Reuseable Blanket Stitch Fabric Notebook Cover Tutorial from Clones ‘N’ Clowns here. I’d use embroidery thread for the blanket stitch to make it really stand out.

Make a hand bound journal with decorative stitching that is so much nicer to hold than a spiral bound book.

Truebluemeandyou: One of the easiest, best photographed tutorials on this type of hand bound book. There is even a template to print out for where to drill/cut your holes for “sewing” the book together. And yes, I’ve taken book binding classes too.
