DIY Tee Shirt and Beads Braided Tall Basket Tutorial from Corner Blog here. This basket is much bigger than it looks and was made my moms in conjunction with their kids as a school art project and then auctioned off at a school function. They asked for an old tee from each student and then purchased a yard of jersey. Love how it turned out - in this case looking homemade is a definite plus. First seen at Design Crush here.

They did it with their iconic Granny Couture Sunglasses here and have done it again with this beautiful dessert stand. Lots of drilling tips. Do you think that Grandma Martha Stewart knows that WTF does not stand for Where’s the Fish? truebluemeandyou: This could also be used as a jewelry display. The advice for drilling through plates is really good - especially using water to cool down the bit (I do this when drilling into plexiglass to prevent cracking). My mother loves anything MoMA, mid century or modern - she will not be getting this for Mother’s Day.
