DIY Decoupage Plates
Truebluemeandyou: Really good tutorial. You know those skull plates (I’ve seen people commenting/asking how to do them) - the ones with the skulls in the middle and traditional china designs around the rim? You could easily to that using this technique.
DIY Door Room Divider. No tutorial but you can use recycled doors from a salvage yard and piano hinges (hinges that bend both ways) to connect the doors. I normally don’t post Pinterest as a source, but I can’t find this photo anywhere else. Uploaded to Pinterest by Jessica Canale here.
DIY Pegboard Customizable Wall Art. Love this idea of using colored pencils and cheap pegboard to create string art, book shelves, etc… Tutorial and lots of photos at Kara Paslay Designs here.
DIY Polymer Clay Jewelry Dish. If you’ve ever wanted to try out polymer clay, this is a super easy introduction. Tutorial from Honestly…WTF here. *I also love that Honestly…WTF put up warnings about polymer clay: once it touches something you can never use food on it again - dishes, pasta machine, etc… I even have a designated cheap toaster oven I use to bake it in.
truebluemeandyou: Color Wheel Mirror. Reblogging because Karen Johnston has a MINI tutorial that she added today on how she went about making this.
The Color Wheel Mirror by Karen Johnston. Have you seen the mirrors made out of materials like: rulers, pink pencils, silver pencils, rhinestone and tiles? They were made by Karen Johnston who makes the most gorgeous frames for mirrors. These are huge pieces. Inspirational. Found at her website mosaicworksca here where you can also see other examples of her work. *EDIT: MINI Tutorial on how she made this here.
