truebluemeandyou: Easy Golden Snitch Ornament. One of my favorites from 2011.
DIY Golden Snitch Ornament form Tiny Apartment Crafts here. The wings are made out of glittered tissue paper and wire.
DIY Puzzle Piece Angel Ornament Tutorial from Michele Made Me here. *Tip: You could use dimensional paint like she did for the halo but you could also use nail art beads as well.
Truebluemeandyou: I’m always looking for unusual DIY ornaments and it’s actually hard to find ones I really like. You can use puzzle pieces for so many things and they cost almost nothing at Thrift Stores (and really, if you’re crafting you don’t care if a piece is missing). The size of the puzzle piece is the most important thing. I’ve made cards, altered art, ombre wall art, and collages using puzzle pieces.
DIY Melted Snowman Ornament Tutorial from Eyeballs by Day Crafts at Night here. This is created using salt, peppercorns and polymer clay. *Tip: add a mini scarf, top hat, and you can create the “carrot nose” using orange paper rolled up and coated with glue. This would be a really good fund raising project because you could make them en masse. First seen at Dollar Store Crafts here.
Truebluemeandyou: Posted on my Holiday Blog. “Mommy, what is that?” “A dead snowman.”
DIY Lana Red Blog Tutorials I’ve posted in the past that would make great holiday gifts. Also check Lana Red’s Tumblr Blog here.
truebluemeandyou: Red White and Blue Strawberries. When I had about as many followers as this post got… and that would have been 9.
Happy 4th of July Strawberries! Strawberries dipped in white chocolate and then in blue sprinkles. Here at What You Make It… blog.
DIY Rice Pudding in a Bottle with Free Printable. I’m saving this for Holiday time 2012. It’s a dry mixture of inexpensive ingredients in a glass yogurt or plain bottle, and a free retro printable with instructions on the back. Also nice as a wedding favor. Recipe, how-to and free printable packaging from Funkytime here.
