Donatella is going to use thick tee shirt yarn with these huge needles. Her DIY tee shirt dyed yarn tutorial is posted here. *Last year I posted the extreme knitting needles for that gorgeous wool blanket that was knitted on PVC pipes here. *EDIT: Donatella said these were equivalent to US Size 36 or mm20.
