DIY Chocolate Spiderweb Drink Recipes from Oh My! Creative. She used candy melts which I like because they melt and harden so well. You can buy them in any color and they are cheap and available anywhere cake decorating supplies are for sale (I like Wilton’s brand). For more Halloween drinks like the Vampire Float, Vampire Vodka and Bubbling Swamp Water (kids) go here.
DIY Inspiration: Ghostly Stuffed Animal Prints. These were made by Artist Geoffrey Ricardo in the printing space at The Art Vault Mildura (www.theartvault.com.au) and the full YouTube video is here. The GIF comes from the YouTube video and one photo from Not Quite Nigella made by me with makeagif.com. Photo Credit: Geoffrey Ricardo pulling up the bear is by Not Quite Nigella here (she visited the Art Vault Mildura).
This has been labeled all over the internet and Pinterest as “cute art for childrens’ nurseries”. I respectfully disagree. Because nothing is more scary than a ghostly white print of your beloved and now departed best friend staring at you. If you watch the video there are more fascinating prints from discarded plush toys, and you can judge for yourself if late at night you would want these animals surrounding you as you try and get to sleep.
