How to Make a GIF in 5 Steps by truebluemeandyou and DIY Monster Jaws Tutorial and Template from It’s Always Autumn. PHOTOS FOR GIF from It’s Always Autumn. I think more blogs should be using GIFs becaue they are easy to make and engage the reader - I use them frequently on my blogs. *I always check to see if a blogger specifies how many photos I can use - some you can only use 1, other blogs let you use final photos, and some blogs you must email the blogger for permission to use any. I saw this DIY that I wanted to post on my kids’ blog and then I saw the perfect group of photos to make a great GIF.
STEP 1
Find photos that make a good GIF. These are from the tutorial for making Monster Jaws at It’s Always Autumn.

STEP 2
Find a GIF generator site. I really like makeagif.com because there are lots of options and NO WATERMARKS.
Click on “ADD PICTURES” and add as many as you want.

STEP 3

Arrange the photos in the order you want. Sometimes if I want a GIF to last longer on 1 image, I duplicate that image i.e. I put in 2 or 3 of the same photo in the lineup.

STEP 4
Select your GIF options.
The options in the photo below are the ones I normally choose. You can play around with the speed becasue if you don’t like the result just start over.

STEP 5
See if you like the GIF and download to your computer.
Tumbl’s new GIF policy: If you’re posting an animated GIF, make sure it is no larger than 1.75MB and no more than 500 pixels wide
If it’s over 1.75MB then go use my other favorite program to scale/crop: lunapic.com

truebluemeandyou: You know how I only post really easy recipes on my blog? I think this “recipe” out does anything I’ve posted or reblogged ever. Also read the comments on The Glitter Guide - some people are having “problems” making this donut cake.
crankycrafter:

DIY 1 Ingredient Donut Cake. I first saw this on Pinterest - “Things I Hate About Pinterest - Because despite its many wonders, Pinterest is mostly cat pictures, bad grammar and bacon recipes.” Warning: For advanced bakers only - take 24 donuts and arrange them on a cake stand (maybe it’s the cake stand makes this a cake?). "Recipe" and "how to" from The Glitter Guide. Everything I love about DIY on the internet!
