Tutorial for Layered Stamping Necklace. This is not a simple tutorial, but what is really interesting is that Desiree Bigard (who makes and sells Gothic, Victorian and fantasy peices at Peacock Tres Chic) glues all her manufactured brass and sterling plated brass stampings and filigree pieces together, and doesn’t solder them together. NEW DIY Steampunk Goggles Tutorial. I posted these Steampunk Gogglesmade by Jen at the Ebot blog on July 29th here. Jen wrote she’d have a tutorial out soon. Well she kept her word! She goes step by step in her excellent tutorial here. She also tells you where she got her materials: I bought these brass filigree pieces from The Mermaid’s Dowry on Etsy, which has hundreds and hundredsof gorgeous stampings and charms. Great tutorial, especially if you’re into steampunk, want to save $$$$ and want to DIY.
