Etsy: The Silmarwen Súrion Hooded Cropped Mozzetta Pattern. Find the pattern here for $5. From the Jane Victoria Etsy Store (ignore scary model).
A beautiful, very “Morgana,” Celtic-styled hooded mozzetta pattern is all in one piece and has a high ribbon-laced turtle-neck collar and a generous hood that sweeps the shoulders. It stays up on its own but for windy days you can use a hairpin to secure it without losing the silhouette.
Another confession: I have sewn, knitted, done marbling, beaded, made altered art, collaged, photoshopped for fun and my job, quilted (sewing, I know), made jewelry and on and on… but I do not crochet. I post a lot of crochet because I wish I did (and if my friend who owns a yarn store was to read this…). I am extremely choosey about what I knit because I am choosey about what I do with my time. I would knit this.
Also, because I have done so many crafts (thank you 4-H for starting me down this road) I only pick the ones I think all of you can do at almost any skill level (except for knitting and crochet!).
Etsy Under the apple tree canopy bed. A woodland fairy tale. From Etsy seller attiladesign here. Bed posts are laser cut. For those who follow my blog, I hate to window shop - usually I only like things I can make myself or actually afford, but this is beautiful. Not to depress anyone, but est. price is $12,600. Can anyone laser cut wood like this?
truebluemeandyou: Reblogging because I know now that Fairies aren’t as sweet and innocent as they seem from a reliable source… True Blood.
Warning Don’t Piss Off The Fairies available at Amazon here. Especially after watching True Blood on Sunday.
