sometimescounciltake asked you:  I was wondering if you/any of your followers had ever applied gold leaf to a jacket? I have found a few DIYs for spray/regular paint, but I have several books of gold leaf and I have read that Skins clothing designer applied gold leaf to a regular leather jacket for one of their characters — I’m thinking if applied correctly, it would be less likely to chip and crack like spray paint, wouldn’t you think? Truebluemeandyou: I had no idea how to answer this question and so who do I always ask when I am totally clueless? If you ever want to know what we really think go to our FB pages :) EDIT: Donatella just told me on FB that, “I’m pretty sure the glue leaves some residues that on black would look kind of “cloudy” so I would be really careful on pressing and re-applying the foil especially on the edges of the area with the glue.”
