DIY Giant Bow. http://asubtlerevelry.com/big-bow-party-hat What girl wouldn’t want to wear this to a party… in public? From A Subtle Revelry:
“A very big bow is a great and festive option for your best friend, mom, daughter or grandma’s birthday. It it large enough to really make a girl feel special, while being whimsical and pretty at the same time.”
*Posts in this party hat series are styled and photographed by Carly Taylorunder the creative direction of Victoria Hudgins for A Subtle Revelry.
Would you wear this to a party?

truebluemeandyou: I’ve gotten asked a few times what to do with the really cheap fabric tulle and this is one example. For cosplay, dress up or Halloween. Really cute. A regular party? Not so much. For more DIYs using tulle go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/tulle

DIY Bird Wings Pattern and Tutorial from Eri at Llevo el Invierno for Prudent Baby here. The pattern measurements are for 18 to 36 months, but you could easily adjust this pattern. *Prudent Baby just posted other bloggers’ variations on these wings here.
Truebluemeandyou: I looked through my inbox and could not find the message from the person who was looking for bird wings that looked good extended and not extended. I think these would be a good choice and could be made in any color, material etc…
