DIY Bleached and Doodle Shorts Tutorial from Dare to DIY here. Summer is almost over (I will not miss not the scorching temperatures), but I can think of lots of uses for this on cheap canvas bags, cheap cotton tees (sometimes on sale at Michaels for $2), etc… *You can buy cheap doodle books online here (no affiliate link), find doodles online or get books from your library.
DIY Egg Heads. Want to do something quick without the bother of dying eggs? Doodle on eggs with sharpies. Eggs from sicou here.
DIY Doodle Easter Eggs with Sharpies. I loved these black and white Easter Eggs done with a fine point Sharpie so much I asked Alisa Burke if I could post them (as per her website). Admittedly we aren’t all as talented as Alisa Burke, but she shows how she created these here.

DIY Bleach Doodles T-Shirt Using the Clorox Bleach Pen. There have been other tutorials using the Clorox Bleach Pen, but none that offered such good advice, or did such a great job of drawing on a T-Shirt. Instructions are from the site: Vitamin C…A Daily Dose of Creativity here. This is some of Kim’s advice using the bleach pen n a shirt (more advice on her site):
- the bleach can be applied in a thick line (see above where I started with a thick line), or a thinner line
- If you apply the bleach and let it dry on the shirt, the bleaching will be complete and the lines will be white
- If you apply the bleach and rinse it off after 10 minutes or so, some of the shirt’s color will remain
