DIY Sci Fi Story Stones Tutorial and Printable from Tried & True here. Basically you put the “stones” in a bag and kids pull them out and make up stories. But this could also be a kids and adult game. You can get the disc really cheap at your craft store.
In the downloadable printable are references from:
- Star Wars
- Star Trek
- Doctor Who
DIY J.Crew Pocketless Denim and Rose Tyler Inspired Eagle Patch Tutorials from La Vie en Rose here. Easy hack of a denim shirt and I like the iron on patches that Auna has been DIYing. She also has tutorials on how to take shirts in that are too big. Top Photo: J.Crew Pocketless Denim Shirt here, Bottom Photo: DIY by La Vie en Rose.
DIY Doctor Who Sweatshirt to Vest Refashion from La Vie en Rose here. Lots of DIY ideas and tutorials in one post: how to make a sweatshirt to a hooded vest, stenciling, and adding a patch with clock charms. I know Auna loves Doctor Who and Downton Abbey. You can check out her glitter sweatshirt “Free Bates” I posted here.
Today, I finished my Doctor Who themed quiet book.
My two year old is going to FLIP when I hand him this to play with on our two day car ride!

DIY Doctor Who Party and DIY Felt Fez Pattern and Tutorial by Tally’s Treasury here. Step #19 or why I love this post:
19) Party time! Remind all your friends how cool fezzes are. If you have the right kind of friends, they should already know this. For even more coolness, add a bowtie.
EDIT: For my response to the Fez uproar go here. Where is the uproar about the Dreamcatcher in front of an American flag with a DIY “slave bracelet” in front of that here? Not only that, I didn’t see one negative comment on the original “Fez Tutorial” (which is where it actually counts) which leads me to think a lot of people are trolls and it’s the reason why I took down the ability to comment on my posts for a week or so.
