supreme-styless asked: how do you get so many followers? can you promo me? please?
I have quite a few followers by having good content, having that content be really fresh (usually posting DIYs that come out on the day I post them), having a really organized blog, DIYs being featured several times on Tumblr Radar, having my blog being spotlighted on one of Tumblr’s spotlight pages, being featured on DIY and sometimes CRAFTS - especially when there used to be a top 10 list, and blogging original content (ie not just reblogging) for well over a year. For most of that time I had no followers. I put a ton of work into my blog for myself and not to get followers and I think that’s pretty obvious. I only reblog posts I think add something new to my blog. EDIT: I must also give credit to dizzymaiden. I love her blog and the content she chooses and I wanted my blog to be as good as her blog.

(via The Perfect Pear: Create Your Own Mould Out of Polymer Clay)
Truebluemeandyou: I’ve written about this before - making molds out of polymer clay. Super easy and cheap. Also, people ask me what DIY sites I visit on Tumblr and litttlecraziness and dizzymaiden are just two of many that I check on every day - because of their content and they always publish the original source.
Hi! I have this big beautiful piece of lace table cloth that is a great mint green, it has a huge hole in the center of it and is oval shaped. Any ideas how I could use it in a fashion DIY? I’d hate to get rid of it. Thank you!
I have some tutorials that use lace here: from clothing restyles to jewelry etc…: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/lace

DIY honey lozenges or honey candy
FACT: The reason honey is so easy to digest is that it’s already been digested by a bee.
beautiful-wretched-life asked: hey i absolutely love your blog and i was wondering if you knew of any other tumblrs like yourself?
On Tumblr: Dizzymaiden (food, crafts, just interesting things that are beautiful and thought provoking), littlecraziness (lots of crafts, inspiration and interesting things - also look at her archive), holly-go-brightly (lots of really good DIY links to tutorials - check out her archive), ohlordylord, rockspapermetal (jewelry inspo). I’m leaving out a lot of blogs as usual, but these are off the top of my head.
I posted this list here a while back and should update it because I’ve found some really good fashion/restyle blogs that I adore.
