DIY Cut Out and Gathered Tank Top Restyle from Trash to Couture here. You will probably need a sewing machine for this DIY. I checked Trash to Couture’s Tumblr blog and she hasn’t posted this. *Someone asked me about cheap sewing machines. One of my favorite machines I use all the time because it sews on plastic is an old all-metal Singer Sewing Machine I got at Jo-Ann Fabric Store. They used to have “sewing machine tune up days” where for a flat fee you could bring your machine to be oiled and cleaned. The Singer I got was $25 and leftover from that. My advice would be to go to any store that does small appliance repairs or a sewing machine store and ask if they have any used cheap machines.
