DIY Elegant Pearl, Crystal and Tube Necklace Tutorial from Small Good Things here. Easy to follow tutorial with some wire wrapping to make this really pretty 82cm or 32” necklace. I found tube beads at Michaels that I have left over from Thanks, I Made It’s Morse Code Necklace (some are curved but lots are straight).

How great are these Rock Collages by mixed media artist Cori Kindred on Etsy? Her shop is closed until 2013, but you could do something inspired by this with YOUR favorite rocks that remind you of something about someone you care about. Her website is www.corikindred.com. On my FB page I even suggested doing a “speciman” type of collection using a chewed pencil (writer’s block?) and mundane items to characterize someone.
