DIY Anthropologie Beaded Fringe Earrings
truebluemeandyou: Almost all the links prior to November 2013 to crochetclouds and rockmosaic are broken. If you see a DIY I’ve posted and the link to these blogs is broken, message me and I’ll try and find it for you.
created-by-monsters asked: Favorite DIY blogs (top 5) ????
EDIT: This list is so out of date by now. I follow about 400 blogs on Bloglovin and lots of my favorite Tumblr sites are gone or the bloggers rarely post.
On Tumblr off of the top of my head - so I am missing some of my favorites - I’m sure!
holly-go-brightly no longer active
rockspapermetal for jewelry (Not DIY - but really really inspirational)
Off of Tumblr - more than 5 - but I follow a ton of blogs on bloglovin’ so this list is constantly changing depending on the projects being posted. Also, I follow certain blogs for specific things like resin crafts, fashion, inspiration, knitting etc…
inspiration & realisation The BEST blog for well down DIY Jewelry and DIY Fashion on the internet

Wobisobi for clothing restyles and simple jewelry
La Vie en Rose for everything
Family Chic for simple cute ideas
annekata.com for inspiration
flaxandtwine for simple jewelry
instructables.com for anything and everything in the universe
flamingotoes for knockoff jewelry especially
dollarstorecrafts for the fun of it, plus she posts other people’s tutorials on her site.
qmoab reblogged your photo: DIY Mirrored Collar Using CDs. Love this tutorial…
looks awesome. but seems like it would be pokey.
Yes it could be. if you follow my blog I always say there is a fine line between "ugly handmade" and "awesome how did you do that handmade?!". But I try to avoid some of this by posting from sites that have other amazing tutorials that came out well for me or they’ve posted other really great projects. That’s why I reblog tutorials from certain people (who make what they are posting about) like crochetclouds on Tumblr (with her own amazing website here). Thanks, I Made It and wobisobi here. There are lots of others who have reliably good posts that I know will come out how they look on the internet.
Over at Crafterminds they have a series of articles about craft blogging: Blogger Confessions, Volume 1 here, Don’t Believe Everything You Pin here and finally Media is Not Real. Period. here. These articles are kind of shocking to those who think every craft turns out like the photo on someone’s blog - but these articles are also the reason why I go back to certain blogs time and time again and have dropped others.
