DIY Cut Out Skully Tee (or Halloween Costume that could go horribly wrong). Tutorial from  Cut Out and Keep here. The picture above is a version of this project. The original is a skull cut out on the back of the Tee. MardyBum’s Tee (pictured above) is posted here - and understandably has generated lots of comments about it being a “different type of shirt” if it had been cut higher. So I guess it depends what kind of costume or skull shirt you want it to be!

DIY Toilet Seat Cover Viking Costume. I’m posting this to show that crafters are really clever and really resourceful - not saying this is a sarcastic way - but it’s the truth. We make it work, in the spirit of my favorite, Tim Gunn. The mantle and boot coverings are made of this kind of faux fur that was a toilet seat cover.
