DIY Plank Wood Coffee Table. This looks like one of those outrageously expensive tables in a design magazine. But it isn’t. From the Hindsvik site here. What Hindsvik writes:

We bought an old growth hardwood plank from a favourite local antique store and re-used metal hairpin legs from another table we had.

What I thought was interesting (as I’ve never seen these hairpin legs) was that he says they are widely available on ebay. Who knew? Maybe these hairpin legs have been hiding in the background, and I just never noticed…

Door on Casters to make low table. From French by Design here. Hourse tour of her friend Claire and Karim in Rabat, Morocco. You could make something like it using a door on casters. Like this idea very much.
