What’s the most unexpected way to rock a pair of fishnets?
(Hint: It involves a balcony, gold spray paint, and a mason jar or two.)
This could be really cool with candles or LED lights inside for a summer party.
WIN.

What a great little DIY project!!
Gold paint and gold puffy paint? Want to do this!
EDIT: Another Tumblr Craft blog to bite the dust :( She has some cool things posted, but hasn’t posted in 9 months.
DIY Super Cheap but Elegant Centerpiece. All the credit for this goes to Kyrah Ahner at Pinterest here for finding this buried in the Southern Hospitality Blog here where it wasn’t a DIY but a photo from a bloggers’ conference. Kyrah Ahner turned it into a DIY by suggesting how to make it cheaply:
“you can get the vases at Dollar Tree for $1 each. 3 bags of the rocks at $1 each, and the floating candles in a 6 pack for $2.99 at Hob Lob. With the flower, in the colors of the season, you’ve got yourself a very pretty, and very thrifty centerpiece!”

DIY Tea Lights on Bent Spoons Wall Art. Hardest thing: bending the spoons. Tutorial at Spruce Your Nest here.
DIY Mandarin Mint All Natural Candle & Cleaners with Free Label Downloads. I’d probably buy a cheap candle somewhere (unless I was making lots of these), but the window and counter top cleaners require ordinary cheap ingredients, except for the essential oils. With the labels, cheap spray bottles, a basket from Michaels 1/2 off, this is a practical and pretty gift. Tutorial, recipes and labels at Hostess with the Mostess here. *One photo download.
DIY Inspiration Tea Cups Candle Holder. I love the stacked tea cups and the taper candle. I could glue it or not glue it… but with my cats and dog I think I’d glue them all together. From Pernilla Jansson’s blog , Photo: Breakfast in Pernilla’s flat. Photo by Pernilla Jansson. Found via Jamie Says Dream here.
DIY Folk Wire Work Candle Holders. You will either love these or hate these folk wire work candle holders. I’ve always loved wire work and the more authentic folk art so you know where I stand. Tutorial at esprit cabane here.
The purpose of my blog has become to catalog unique crafts that I truly love and would do myself. I love the look of handmade crafts - handmade in a good way. My crafts tend to be doable and inexpensive - because I have either done them myself or intend on doing them. "Doable" doesn't mean "simple" crafts, but rather crafts that have tutorials that are clear and easy to understand. *I will never copy an entire tutorial from any blogger because that takes away page views from their site and 99.99% of the time it violates their copyright policy. I also will not reblog a post if the entire tutorial is published without the permission of the original blogger. I will cite, if known, sources for my posts because I believe in giving credit to the photographer/designer/blogger. Also, to act like something is your own idea, when it isn't, is just wrong.
