DIY Cheap and Easy Fake Studded Wrap Leather Bracelets from Creme de la Craft here. These bracelets are made with cheap brass paper fasteners and scrabooking brads. The closure is also just a slit - so really easy. The first bracelet I saw that was essentially identical to this was one from Thanks, I Made It in June of 2012 here (one of my “best blogs” on Bloglovin).

You can find brads at the scrapbooking department at Michaels or at Staples. DIY Leather Studded Wrap Bracelet Tutorial from Thanks, I Made It here. *This tutorial is different because brads are used instead of heavy duty studs (buy from the scrabooking section or an office supply store) so the project is cheaper. Also, I know I keep repeating myself but one of the specialty tools I own is a leather punch - not that expensive and a must if you are doing anything with leather.
