DIY Bow Shoe Clips Using Bobby Pins. Some comments on this post wondered if the bobby pins would bother your feet. You could cover the pin with moleskin or any padded foot/blister adhesive and that might work (I used to skate and moleskin will stick to anything). Tutorial by Jenny Bevlin for Made By Girl.

DIY Inspiration. DIY Shoe Inspiration. Alexis Mabille S/S09 “Bow” Court Shoes. How easy would this be to upgrade a cheap pair of shoes? You can make them with as many bows as you like, and I love how it looks from the front with the bow fanning out in back. DIY Mini Bow Ribbon Necklace and Mini Bow Earrings. By lindsycarranza at Craftster here.  She has photos of 2 more extremely doable bow necklaces (and more detail on the mini bow necklace so you can see that the ribbons are held together with jump rings.) at the link. To save you time looking through 5 pages of comments, the key to these bows is that she used Triple Thick Brilliant Brush On Gloss Glaze by DecoArt (Diamond, clear finish). She got hers at Hobby Lobby so you must be able to get it at Michaels. She brushed it on the front then the back of the bows so they wouldn’t come apart and would hold their shape (except on the red chain bow necklace which is not pictured).

DIY Dressy Flats. Tie a ribbon around your foot or ankle and make a beautiful bow. This photo is several years old but I like the idea. DIY Fancy Bows. I love bows and used to live near a ribbon manufacturer’s outlet so I have tons of ribbon, and this is the last tutorial I will ever need on tying different bows: tulle, pompom, simple, fancy, fluffy, pipe cleaners etc… Tons of photos and clear instructions at Miss Lovie here.

DIY No Sew Felt Bows. Tutorial and tons and tons of photos at Lines Across My Face here. First spotted at Craftgossip. Great gift idea: she uses them as bookmarks, hair bows, bracelets and the list goes on. I’d use them on packages.
