DIY Book Clutch Tutorial from Monoxious here. This tutorial uses a book box (you used to be able to get these at Michaels or Hobby Lobby) and a leather punch (one of the handy tools I own). What makes this unique is the clasp and book corners.

The clever trick that Kara at Sprinkles in Spring uses is a pre-made book box with a closure from Michaels (she has links to other sites for these boxes).
