DIY Dries Van Noten Inspired Embroidered Pullover Tutorial from Chic Cheat here. She rates this project as quite easy, although I’m not sure it would be for me! She created this look using a combination of machine stitching, gluing embroidery thread and then painting with gold fabric paint - and it took ten hours. *First seen on inspiration & realisation’s FB page here.

truebluemeandyou: DIY Bird Silhouette. I mentioned in this post that I love making unconventional silhouettes and had made one of my pet cockatoo. I posted this in May of 2011 and would probably change the bottom. Super easy to do in Photoshop or other free editing software programs like GIMP on the web. *This is also the cockatoo that helped me demonstrate the truth of the graphic image “Bad Decisions Make Great Stories” here. To prove that I love making silhouettes - my Cockatoo Caesar!
