DIY Portable Picnic Blanket from Clones N Clowns here. I like her idea of using waterproof canvas for the bottom. But you could also just purchase a cheap washable blanket and add the carrying straps (large beach towels would also work).

DIY Easy Spa Wrap or Beach Cover Up Tutorial from La Vie en Rose here. As Auna said in her post this would be a nice addition to a DIY spa gift (like DIY sugar scrubs). This towel stays put and doesn’t slip and is beyond easy to make. I’m going to buy beach towels on clearance this summer to make these for the holidays bundled DIY spa gifts.
