DIY Easy Ball Chain Bracelet Tutorial from Smart n Snazzy here. I love this! I have mentioned that I like using ball chain for heavier pendants and antique keys. For more ball chain jewelry go here: truebluemeandyou.tumblr.com/tagged/ball-chain

DIY Easiest Thumb Ring Ever Tutorial from DIY Das Mach Ich Selber! here. I used Chrome to translate it but the photos are good enough alone. *Tip: I love using ball chain because it is cheap (but can be bought in sterling silver), easily adjustable, and can hold heavier pendants.

DIY Paper Triangle Necklace Tutorial from Bettina’s Blog here. Ok, so I love the idea of this necklace -  the gold ball chain and how you could potentially personalize this necklace in so many ways, but am not so sure about the triangles in heavy paper. It looks really wonderful on Bettina’s Blog and I love her other tutorials that I’ve posted, but still, in my hands (again - in MY HANDS) it may end up on “Craft Fail”.

DIY Beyond Easy $1.50 Ball Chain Bracelet Tutorial from Bettina’s Blog here. *I use ball chain for most of my jewelry because it doesn’t distract from my pendants (sterling silver cast antique keys) and it’s sturdier than other more delicate chains. Ball chain can be high end in sterling or low end colorful metal hardware chain by the inch. Another hint: go to an Army Surplus Store where they often have blank metal dog tags with a machine to print names/quotes etc… They charge by the letter so you can pair a customized dog tag with a cheap ball chain.

DIY Twisted Hardware Store Ball Chain Necklace Tutorial. My favorite chain to use is ball chain because I just like the look of it and it holds heavier pendants. So when I found out you could by it at the hardware store by the foot I was really really happy (and Dismount Creative has a link to a post about what you can buy for DIY at the hardware store). Really easy good tutorial from Dismount Creative here. *At the end of the tutorial she asks:

Unfortunately it won’t stay twisted when you aren’t wearing it unless you hang it like I have below. Does anyone know how to do that? I’m a little worried it will turn into a knot when I’m traveling and toss it into a pile with my other necklaces.
