DIY Knockoff Anthropologie Cameo Collage Necklace (original on left, no longer available but was $298). Knockoff on right, tutorial at Flamingo Toes here. I always learn something new in Bev’s clear, wonderfully photographed tutorials. She got her charms at Michaels and Etsy. I’ve found Etsy is a great place to buy unusual charms (and lots of other supplies now that silver prices have gone up and I can’t afford Rio Grande sterling chains or charms) but sometimes you have to buy more than one.
The purpose of my blog has become to catalogue crafts I truly love and would do myself. I love the look of handmade crafts - handmade in a good way. I will cite, if known, sources for my posts because I believe in giving credit to the photographer/designer/blogger especially regarding craft projects. To act like it's your own idea or post someones tutorial word for word is just wrong. I also look at all the posts of people I follow. What they post inspires me. I am still interested in innovative anything that holds my attention, and makes my creative work in the real world better. * My crafts tend to be doable and inexpensive - because I have either done them myself or intend on doing them.
