skillzmcfly: A super simple DIY that allows you to scan negatives and/or slides using your flatbed scanner! Brilliant! You’d probably need photoshop or something to turn them into color images but I’m sure there are tutorials out there on how to do that. Truebluemeandyou: If the negative is in color it will turn out in color after you invert it :) Really clever and cheap way to scan negatives - especially odd side ones that don’t fit into the negative holders that probably came with your scanner (almost all modern scanners are set up to scan slides and negatives). Comments on the blog are reporting MAJOR problems and someone who reblogged tried this and it didn’t work. Still hoping it works for my odd sized negatives.
