Nine DVD and CD Recycle Reuse Tutorials. I started looking for recycling ideas when I realized I had hundreds of DVDs that didn’t render correctly in Premier and were worthless. When I started looking for ideas for recycling components of CDs and DVDs I had no idea there would be so few that I would actually want to do (and I didn’t include the impossible or impractical in this list like the CD greenhouse). Here are a few I did like:

3. DIY CD Jewel Case Mural using one of my favorite programs: Rasterbator - google it to find amazing images online (Instrucables) here.
4. DIY Mirrored Collar Using CDs (aetienne.net) here.
5. DIY Travel Dry Erase Board with tissues and pens inside (A Creative Cookie) here.
6. DIY DVD Color Pencil and Paper Carrying Case (Handmade by Stacy Vaughn) here.
7. DIY CD Jewel Case Desk Calendar with 2012 Calendar PDF Download (craftzine) here.
8. DIY CD Jewel Case Photo Display and Candle Holder - although I’d use LED tea lights (Designmom) here.
9. DIY CD/DVD Spindle Case for Cord Storage (lifehacker) here.
