DIY Lightbox. It may not be perfect, but this is the easiest tutorial I’ve seen using wax paper and a box - so it’s really inexpensive to build. Tutorial from The Dapper Toad here. Another good tutorial for getting rid of shadows I saw was covering cardboard with aluminum foil with the light on one side, foil on the side where the shadow falls.
