DIY or Buy: Silver necklaces.
Top Photo: DIY Salt Dough Heart Necklace Tutorial from Smile Monsters I posted here.
Bottom Photo:  K’ien $99 Arc de Trio Necklace made out of Silver Plated Brass here. I’d use Fimo or Sculpey (on sale 4/$5 at Michaels sometimes), paint them, etc…

DIY 2 Ingredient Honeycomb Goats Milk Soap Tutorial from Freutcake. This is a semi-homemade soap as you are not mixing lye (scary to me) and other ingredients. You are using a pre-made soap base. She uses a free material to get the honeycomb look on her soaps. I really like this recipe.*This would make a nice gift alone or combined with other DIY spa gifts that I’ve posted i.e. milk baths, sugar scrubs, salt scrubs, knockoff Lush bathbombs etc… here: diychristmascrafts.tumblr.com/tagged/beauty

DIY Dream Bank from Something Turquoise. This is a really easy idea that I posted in December 2011 but the $25 Uncommon Goods one is sold out by now.
My cheaper idea for making one, but not as elegant, was to take a shadow box (I just got 3 for $9 at Michaels) and adhere your photo to the backboard. Then make a small slot on the back (or if you are really handy, drill through the top trying not to split the wood) for the money to go through. Post for the below photo.
